Charlotte is an illustrator, artist and designer based in rural Somerset and London. She creates artworks and patterns for fashion brands, textiles, homeware, stationary and packaging. Using hand painted, traditional as well as digital techniques, Charlottes paintings are inspired by nature, flowers, folkloric and historical design and historical pattern. 

 

After completing a first class Hons BA in Womanswear Fashion Design at London College of Fashion, Charlotte went on to work for over 17 years in the fashion industry, working as a designer for many well known international clothing brands.

 

Charlotte launched her illustration and design studio in 2018 and now licenses her artwork and collaborates and licenses work with brands both large and small. Her style is intricate, hand drawn, joyful, colourful and always inspired by nature. Charlotte has recently hand illustrated a map of the grounds and house for Babington House, Soho house group, she recently collaborated with the UK high street fashion brand Wallis (BooHoo Group) on a floral print dress collection as well as collaborating with the horticultural charity Perennial to create a collection based on their main avenue garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which went on to win a silver medal as well as winner of the BBC peoples choice award. Currently she sells artworks through Anthropologie, Artfully Walls and via her own website shop where she also sells her fine art, hand painted paper lampshades, Painted ceramics tiles and a growing collection of greeting cards.
